THE PROBLEM

Your network is a black box until something breaks.

Most SMBs find out about outages from angry users. The tools that would prevent this are either too expensive, too complex, or both.

Datadog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds

Built for enterprise teams with dedicated ops staff. Expect weeks of setup, a steep learning curve, and invoices that scale faster than your business does.

Zabbix, Nagios, open-source

Powerful but self-hosted. You'll spend more engineering hours maintaining the monitoring tool than it saves you. No SLA, no support, no mobile app.

Flintnet was built for the gap in the middle.

A C++ agent that runs lean on your hosts. A Flutter dashboard that works on every device you own. Pricing that makes sense for teams of 5 or 500. Running in your environment in under 15 minutes.

FEATURES

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

Built from the ground up with a C++ core for performance, and a Flutter frontend so your team has a great experience on any device.

Real-time packet capture

Zero-copy ring buffer capture via libpcap. The C++ agent sees every packet without taxing your hosts — under 0.5% CPU on a typical network node.

C++ / LIBPCAP

SNMP polling

Poll any SNMP-capable device every 60 seconds. Routers, switches, UPS units, printers — if it speaks SNMP, Flintnet speaks to it.

SNMP v1/v2c/v3

EWMA anomaly detection

Statistical baselines per flow, not just static thresholds. Catches slow-burn anomalies — unusual traffic patterns, gradual bandwidth creep, latency drift.

ML / STATISTICS

Mobile-first dashboard

Flutter app runs natively on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. Your on-call engineer gets the same experience on their phone at 2am as they do at their desk.

FLUTTER / CROSS-PLATFORM

Smart alerting

30-second deduplication window prevents alert storms. Route critical alerts to Slack, email, PagerDuty, or a webhook. Severity levels map to your workflows.

SLACK / EMAIL / WEBHOOK

Multi-tenant MSP mode

Manage all your clients from a single pane of glass. White-label the dashboard with your brand. Invoice by client. One Flintnet subscription, unlimited clients.

MSP / WHITE-LABEL

HOW IT WORKS

Running in 15 minutes. Seriously.

No Kubernetes. No YAML sprawl. No dedicated ops engineer. Just an agent, a dashboard, and visibility you've never had before.

01

Deploy the agent

Run curl -sSL install.flintnet.io | bash on any Linux host. The C++ agent auto-discovers devices on your subnet via ICMP and SNMP. No config files to write.

02

Connect your dashboard

Open the Flintnet app on any device. Your network topology appears automatically — devices, links, traffic flows. No manual mapping required.

03

Set your alert rules

Choose from pre-built alert templates or define your own thresholds. Connect Slack or email in two clicks. The anomaly detector starts learning your baselines immediately.

04

Stop firefighting

Flintnet tells you about problems before your users do. Historical data, trend graphs, and exportable reports give you the evidence for every infrastructure conversation.

DOWNLOAD

Deploy in minutes.

Flintnet ships as a Docker Compose stack — one command starts the agent, the UI, and InfluxDB together. No build tools, no dependencies to manage.

Get started with Docker

Run the install script — it downloads all required files, creates your .env from the template, and walks you through the next steps.

STEP 1 — RUN THE INSTALL SCRIPT
curl -fsSL https://flintnet.io/install.sh | bash
Downloads docker-compose.yml, Dockerfiles, nginx.conf and .env.example into ~/flintnet
STEP 2 — SET YOUR SUBNET
nano ~/flintnet/.env
Set FLINTNET_CIDR to your network subnet, e.g. 192.168.1.0/24
STEP 3 — START FLINTNET
cd ~/flintnet && docker compose up -d
Agent API on :3000 · UI on :80 · InfluxDB on :8086
STEP 4 — OPEN THE DASHBOARD
http://<your-host-ip>
Open in Chrome or Edge and enter your agent URL and API token
Docker Engine 20.x or later
Linux, macOS, or Windows with WSL2
Docker Compose v2
Included with Docker Desktop
Linux host recommended
Alpine, Ubuntu, Debian — for raw packet capture
256 MB RAM minimum
512 MB recommended for busy networks
Network access
Agent requires host networking for packet capture
